​We are a family owned and operated company located in Durant Ok. Steve and Miriam Bishop founded wholesale equipment in 1990, originally as a cylinder exchange location for a nearby welding supply. Steve would go on sales calls starting at 6:00am and at night he would repair torches and regulators. In 1994, Steve and Miriam bought cylinders of their own and wholesale equipment has steady grown since then. In 2001, Wholesale Equipment moved from their original location to a larger building where we began to fill our own oxygen cylinders. In 2018, we installed a 14 ton carbon dioxide tank and pump and began to fill our own co2 cylinders. In 2021, Wholesale Equipment added a propane filling station to our location. In 2023, we added our e-commerce website to our business to reach customers who can’t get to our store location.

​Wholesale equipment prides itself on being a “complete welding supply” with all the products you need in stock and ready to ship. We operate a retail store location that stocks not only a complete line of welding alloys and filler metals but also PPE products, weld on hinges and latches, steel products, welding consumables, hand tools, and a full line of grinding/cutting abrasives.

​Our hours of operation are 7:30-6:00 Mon-Fri. & 8:00-1:00 on Saturday.

​We repair and sandblast torches and regulators on site and can even have the repairs done the same day you bring them in.
